Miss Emily made these at mum and toddler group recently, this post is therefore a little bit “cool idea, I should have thought of that” crossed with a bit of “my baby is an actual artistic genius, phone the Tate Modern immediately!” It is a little similar to the flowers that Oz made as teacher presents one year with fun foam, yet looks so completely different.

Christmas Preparations…

I know it’s been a bit quiet around here! I really am sorry! I’m ing a few issues with my back and any time when I’m hurting less I’m either playing with oz (or trying to) or in a Christmas crafting coze. It’s very selfish of me really. So I’m trying to write up a bit of what’s been going on around here, without giving too many Christmas secrets away. 🙂
So this afternoon Oscar (3) and I made Christmas trees from lolly sticks!
First we cut the sticks to length and coloured them:
Then we lined them all up to the places they should go.
Carefully, Oscar glued them down:
and added the ‘decorations’.
ta-dah!
and of course we couldn’t stop with trees…
There will hopefully be more posts of impending Christmas-ness shortly!
