I found these cool paper stars on Anam’s Blog. I used them to make a chain for thehall mirror. It’s the only decoration we have so far unless you count the Advent Kranz or Oscar’s Christingle from Sunday. We figure a couple of weeks in is plenty early enough to decorate.

Directions are from Anam see address above. (I used a crop-a-dile for the holes; and the stars are threaded loose on the butchers twine. I guess friction holds them in place)
and here are the separating balls:
The balls are made from 10 punched cirles, folded in half and glued together around the butchers twine.

Those are so pretty! Arrrgh, I don’t need anymore cool craft projects! I haven’t officially started decorating for Christmas; just took down the balloons from my kiddos’ birthdays.
